During your time with us, you'll find rewarding opportunities and diverse experiences whilst working with a collaborative team of dedicated colleagues willing to support your placement year. MSD provides the foundation to incorporate the skills and knowledge you have learnt at university as well as developing new ones in a business environment. During your placement at MSD you will be set targets and carry out activities that will aid your development.
MSD provides a challenging and enjoyable placement programme to improve your communication, teamwork, organisation and interpersonal skills as well as developing your business awareness.
In addition you will be paid a salary of £16,500 and will be entitled to 25 days holiday and 8 days bank holiday leave. Placement students will also have access to our on-site gym facilities, canteen and will be able to take part in various social activities throughout the year, including an opportunity to meet with fellow successful applicants before your placement begins.

Please note that applications for the 2013 joint pharmacy pre-registration training programme run by Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and funded by MSD are now closed. Information for graduates who are interested in applying for the 2014 programme will be posted on these pages in early 2013.
