Advice for applicants
Sometimes great projects are difficult to support if the way that they are described isn’t clear. So, to support you in developing your application, we have outlined how your project will be evaluated and provided an example of what a well structured application looks like. We politely ask that you consider the guidance before completing each section:

Describe the background to the project and need for the project*

Describe the scope of the project*

What are the goals of the project?*

Preferably SMART. i.e., Specific, Measurable, Agreed, Realistic, Time-bound

What impact will the project have?*

Consider:
• Who are you hoping to reach, and positively impact in the project?
• How tailored is the project to the audience it is trying to serve?
• How likely will the project meet its desired outcomes for the target audience?
• How will you measure success of this?
In your answer, consider providing Key Performance Indicators that demonstrate the potential outcomes or reach of your project in line with our programme goals and themes.

How will you manage the delivery of the project?*

e.g. Stakeholders involved in the project – who is doing what?
